    Hello team,
As some of you already know, I'm all set to start my vacation to the Arctic this weekend. I’m starting this thread to keep my truck travel posted. We all like to build, use and play with our trucks. This happens to be my play time! Here you go. I'm trying to keep two forums posted at the same time( This and Expedition portal - http://www.expeditionportal.com/for...ka-(Prudhoe-Bay)-and-back-in-Winter(December)!!! ). Since this is more of "all about truck" and not necessarily "just travel", I figured you guys might be interested in technical details. Please feel free to ask me any details you need. I will try my best to answer them.

Truck : 2015 TRD PRO manual 6 speed

    2 inch lift in front(OEM)

I added 1.5-2” inch AAL (ICON Dynamics)

Leer camper shell without carpet/liner( I’ll be cooking inside)

CB radio Uniden Bearcat 880 with 4 foot whip

Engine block heater and Battery heat wrap

    Fia front grill cover

    Warrior roof rack

Generator with capabilities to charge truck battery.

Enough food to last atleast a week, micro wave and toaster in the bed

-35 degree sleeping bag and the rear seat cushion removed to make a full bed(I will post picture later).
Four - 5 gallon gas cans.
Lots of tools including power tools and recovery gears. Pictures talk and here we go...

So, when you say Arctic, are you referring to that place where the penguins live? Like the South pole? Im not sure how you are going to make it from California to the South pole in a weekend...

Your compass is too close to a fridge magnet. It's suppose to point the other way.

Don't forget more than enough fresh water. The last trip I made down from AK, we took a small camp stove with a small pot and a bunch of cup-o-noodles. Add in some dried meat, and it wasn't too bad.

    yeah - fresh water.

    extra gasoline?

warm and storm clothing you can get to from inside the cab so you don't need to go outside the truck around to the bed to get the stuff that'll keep you dry and warm.

snowshoes in case you need to walk any distance?

I've found gaiters to be real helpful in keeping feet dry.

Second spare tire. Always sucks to run over something and blow two tires but only have one spare.
