    in the last week:
installed reinforced tailgate skin (@Mobtown Offroad)
    + tailgate cap
    + steel bed storage doors
weather tech license plate frames (front/rear. plastic) my front plate kept getting bent when i would take the truck through the car wash (i know...)
49ers logo hitch cover + hitch lock
Mob Armor phone mount. put it a bit too close to my wiper controls, but this is california so it shouldn't bug me too much most of the year.
New Car Smell cherry bomb air freshener
weather tech side window defectors (front/rear). (did this just a few minutes ago, very easy... i think)

nothing crazy but i'm happy. no pics to share yet. got a few more projects in the works.

I'm in Merritt so not too far u guess. That pic was half way up Iron Mountain. Me and one of my friends like to go quad up there sometimes but on that day took the lady out for a spin in the truck.

Well I am having a fun couple days of mods but was having issues with the electronics so I decided to hold off on the posts.

    1. Installed a cloud rider grill insert winter front IMG_0311.jpg

    2. Fixed my 7 pin connector that came loose on the back bumper. I had relocated it from underneath using a holesaw and a little trimming with the dremel. IMG_0295.jpg

    3. I trimmed back more plastic with intentions of putting back metal splash guards. After taking way too much time to do other stuff around the truck I ended up just keeping the upper parts of the guard and cutting out the parts that were rubbing on the tires. IMG_0268.jpg IMG_0269.jpg IMG_0270.jpg

But it looks like I am gonna have to cut the body mount and check for more rubbing on the tires. Every once and a while it rubs. I would like to be able to drive normal again without worrying about rubbing something off the truck. I am so close

    4. Decided to go for a little visit to my sister, cousin and friends on Vancouver Island and took some photo's of what the "highway through hell" looks like in December. IMG_0284.jpg IMG_0285.jpg IMG_0287.jpg IMG_0289.jpg

5.Went and met a guy named Tyler at North Shore Offroad in Surrey BC and decided to buy this little toy. Working on getting it installed over the back of the truck while still being able to use the cover. Thinking a double load bar linked in the middle.IMG_0291.jpg
Not my photo but this is what it looks like set up. KUKSIB3__44383.1396984610.1280.1280.jpg

Got stuck on making the mounts because the area I am in doesn't really have any good mod shops. Everything is basic and bare and you cant do anything custom. I need to find some aluminum C channel or boxed aluminum to make some nice bars for the back of the truck and a couple brackets to go under the cover. I know they make racks like this but I like my aluminum lol

Well sorry for the other posts. I normally try and combine my reply's into one post but they were on different pages and my computer is still acting up. Enjoy folks. hope the thumbnails work.

It is kind of comical watching highway through hell sometimes. Can the highway get pretty nasty at times... Yes. Do they add TV drama and make it look way worst then what the normal conditions are, absolutely!

That was 32' F . Keep in mind our temps are normally on the C' scale just to make us feel better I think.

I knew I recognized the area lol.. I haven't had a chance to go 4x4ing in the merrit area but I drive through it all the time for Salmon fishing in Chilliwack and I head up the #5 for work all the time. Right now I am in Victoria doing a "Visiting" mod and enjoying my Olympus Camera. Taking some good photo's but not sure if posting anything on here would be appropriate lol

Forgot to post the savior photo cause it was only after I got them out. An older couple had driven off the road due to ice and going way too fast. Saw the lady who must have been close to 80 + or - shoveling snow to try and make it easier on the ford ranger truck they had. Luckily they had some duratracs so I aired them down to 25 psi for some extra traction and still no major roll on the highway with their little truck and we worked them out. here is the only picture I was able to get. IMG_0288.jpg
Honestly felt good to get the old man to drive that truck out of the ditch with 8 inches of snow and a good 10 foot sloped climb to the top.

It's a great area if you are into 4x4ing, quading camping etc. I guess Vernon probably has a lot of that too though.

Hopefully you are enjoying the visit! Yeah that would be a pretty good climb out when you have the snow working against you. I'm surprised he climbed his way out of that one without being tugged. Lucky for them they didn't flop it on it's side or roof. You see a lot of that on the highways in winter. Is that up a little past Larson Hill?

I am not sure the name of the hill but it was on a downward venture towards the coast and the corners are a little bit tighter then other area's. On my way back I will pay a little more attention to the hills and figure out where exactly it happened. I can ping it on my phone even without cell service due to an app I have. I dont know if you see the tracks but I had him pack down a path without digging down. Nice and easy at first then when he got closer to the top without digging down anymore I got him to go for it with everything he had and he just popped out. I already had my tow strap ready and he was going to just stop and wait for the little tug once he was up high enough. Dont tow if you dont have to is what I was taught. Really awesome to see his expression though as he made it up and over. I am sure he was worried about flipping over backwards at those angles.

Sounds like it went well and nice of you to stop and help them. I was trying to see the tire marks for when they left the road. That's where you usually see them flip is going off the road at an angle. I bet they were thrilled that you helped them out of that one!

Installed new tires 265/70/16 bfg at ko2 not the size I wanted ,was supposed to be 265/75/16 long story short I wasn't gonna wait an other 3 1/2 hours for them to change it so I got free alignment , mount and balance and paid only $487 bucks so I'm happy I'll just rock this till I need new tires.

Thanks. There a 600 lb spring that comes with the set from Bilstein. I'm not sure who makes the springs. The shock body has 4 settings. I'm going with a mild lift and had them pre assembled on the first setting.

The truck is lifted eibach and billys set to 2nd notch combine 2.5 inches in the front , rear has billys with toytec progressive 3 leaf add a leaf I left the stock overload leaf in as I need the extra capacity for towing , total is 2.25 inch lift in the rear. As for rubbing nothing at all as the tires are the same as stock 265/70/16
