Looks great. Do you have close ups of the bar sitting in the grill? Did you cut the grill? I can't tell.
I was thinking of getting a double row light bar that fit behind the two slats in the grill as best I could.

I almost like the look of the old school round lights (Hella, etc) look mounted on the front of trucks.
Anyone have experience with the the LED round off-road lights?
    Example.

I am wondering if anyone is using relays for these? I wouldn't want to run 12 amps through a little switch on the dash

Dean, did you just cut the center divider on your lower grill? I can't tell how your light bar is sitting in there. Looks great. I'm all about stealth and subtleness on my truck.

I can't imagine not using a relay on anything over an amp or two. Though, most toggle switches, even the small ones, can handle 15-16 A. You don't want all that amperage going through your leads though. LIke someone said, it is an easy way to burn your $40k taco to the ground.
I'm working on a stealthy location for 4-6 toggles now. LIght bar, rear LED floods, rock lights and........compressor? and.....

I cut out the lower grill part. Easy to cut with side cutters or tin snips. Mounted the light bar so it was flush with the grill. Everyone thinks it's factory because the 30" fits there perfect. I bought my switch from aironboard.com. The wiring harness you can get from them comes with relay and inline fuse. Switch fits perfectly in factory blank in dash. Matches factory switches perfect

Again, looks great. now i have to decide if i want to cut the lower grill on my brand new truck, or mount a two-row light bar behind it like the OP.

And, there is always the option of putting large round off-road lights on the front like i mentioned. Hella halogen/HID, or the LED ones i posted early.. just wish someone had some photos of this on their new trucks. leaning toward one of the bars though.

    thanks for posting.

Just my opinion but I don't think the double LED will look right and the light will be blocked because that space isn't that big. The single row fits in there perfect and looks ment to be
