I'm at a gun show and the first sign I see "no loaded clips beyond this point". Really? Clips?

Your RTR came with the Tamiya plug? On my crawlers I run the EC3 connector, very firm connection, protection from shorting or reverse polarity is good. Deans are also very good also, nice high current connection. Anderson power poles are not popular in RC much anymore because they are not as high current.

If I was soldering up new terminals I would use Deans because it would be lots easier to share/barrow a battery.

That's the plan, I like the power poles personally but plan to solder the deans on here later after I get a wider solder tip.

EC3 and EC5 all day long. Although I do use Deans on a couple models.
Nice to see I'm not the only RC geek here.

I'm mainly a surface guy. I do have some small multi-rotors that I like to mess around with.

I like all of it, crawl, race, bash, heli's, recently delved into quads, foam planes, boats, although boats suck to retrieve when there is a problem. It's an addiction.

Any one have a 3.4L stock air box with MAF . I already checked Jims today but he didn't have any. If not i'll just check online. But i'm trying to avoid online who knows if it will have cracks.
