come on guys, if you don't want a gun, don't buy one. if you do,do it safe and legal. just don't tell me i can't or shouldn't. i do like the idea of the velcro ,on a holster,in the console.

That's a fair reason. Work issues can definitely be inconvenient.

I built an AR on a Spike's lower with a BCM upper a couple of years ago and put a Geissle Super Dynamic flat trigger in it. It is awesome!

Wait... my EDC doesn't have an external safety. And the Glock I carried as a cop didn't either. :( How did I never get shot? Grace of God I guess...

I should buy a lottery ticket. Cuzz I'm so lucky! :)

There's portable lockable boxes you could put in your truck which cable lock in. Less convenient than right in the console, but you can fit a full sized gun in them.

Your all trying to put yourself in a shootout from inside your truck. A truck that has a running engine. Your safest bet is to drive away if someone tries to shoot you.

This thread is leaning political in disguise.

My personal feeling is that anyone deemed "legal" to carry should have that right.

I think that without extensive military, LE or similar training, most people would panic, be overcome with adrenalin or would simply piss themselves if they were in a situation where they had to draw & discharge a firearm at another person.

I have no special place in my truck, my CC weapon stays on my person.

Yeah I have one of those. Used to use it in my previous car. They are annoying.

There has been a time or 2 I have driven with more than a handgun in the front seat. But, I also carry my glock 19 in a rcs eidolon holster aiwb, with an extra mag...

Until rcs makes an aiwb holster for my 19 with my surefire x300u-b with dg switch

If you are not allowed to carry at work, are you authorized to even possess a firearm in your vehicle?
