    Dude I just remembered!! STOP!

You have to put the template on the fender on the truck. We adjusted the template back twords the rear, having the paper template about an inch hanging over on the door seam. This lined up the snorkel better on the pillar. You can not simply line up the template on the fender lines and go by the antenna. I would say the template is a reference source but not an exact fit. Just would hate to see you set up the fender with the snorkel then not have the bracket line up on the windshield pillar. I kept holding up the snorkel body best I can to make sure everything would line up.

My antenna isn't centered, here's some reference pics

Everything I said is in my experience, just letting you know there are variables to the install.

No probs. Just set the template then hold up the snorkel in refererance to the template, then eye ball the pillar, antenna, bolt holes, and main intake hole. See if it's to your liking and go for it! Good luck

Nice man! I was going to go with the Airflow but I couldn't pass up that sale at Cruiser Outfitters for the Safari. I do like the Airflow and how it is made for the truck, but the clean lines of the Safari overpowered the Airflow..

    :pout:

Factory :anonymous: no one had the antenna tool in stock to be able to remove it for at least a week..I was impatient..couldn't wait with a wheelin' trip coming up next weekend..

I think it is above the driver and passenger's heads not in the A-pillar..unless there's wiring for the airbags there :notsure:

I stuck mine on there..if I ever plan on going through thick brush, then I will screw it on. Honestly, like everyone says, the fender bolts make it VERY solid without the A-pillar attached at all.

I think it'll be less nerve wracking than the snorkel and pretty straight forward..just a lot of work to get those damn rivets out..I still have to take the shackles and the brackets to the powder coater though :pout: likely won't happen before the trip next weekend..oh well, need to slow things down a bit and focus on the holidays and friends and family for now as long as the flip happens before April 1st I'll be fine..so I have some time
