Well, after A LOT of research and talking to others, I have decided on 22ple as the coating (mimics glass when dry). It expensive but if I can get 18-24 months out of it, I'm happy. I'll be "over" it by then and will have branches providing my own custom pin striping.

I'll be applying it next weekend. The interior gets 303 along with all soft rubber/bits, the bed and possibly the tires.

I'll Rejex over the 22ple up front and on the side mirrors, for an added anti bug solution.

Collonite on the glass at first. Might change to Rejex later. Rejex on my skid plate, wheel wells and wheels.

I should remove each tire and coat the entire wheel and caliper, but doubt I will.

I'll need to do a dawn wash or IPA wipe before all this as ive been using a quick wax until I figured out what I wanted to do. I'll then do the baggie test and clay where needed.

I tested both the 845 and Rejex on my old Tacoma. Man, great products. I never really put my effort in protecting my first gen, but for this one, I'd like to start off right.

You can use 303 on any surface that is plastic or vinyl. So yeah, most of the interior as well as some of your exterior trip pieces.

I think twice a year will be good. It takes to long to do on a regular basis.

Cool, thanks for the response. I finally ordered and received some 303 from Amazon, just haven't done anything with it yet.

Nice things about 303... UV protection so it will help keep your plastics and vinyl from sun fading and it won't give you that cheap shiny look like that stuff which shall not be mentioned on any respectable auto forum (armorall).

I used Armor All on the dash of my MINI but Zaino tire gloss on the exterior. I've not used 303 before but have heard nothing but good things about it, so I'm anxious to see the results.

I've heard that Liquid Glass is an acrylic based sealant that actually etches into the clear coat as a means of bonding. I don't know if there's truth in that, but I've seen it mentioned numerous times in detailing forums. That's what's kept me away from that one. It sounds like there are much better options out there now. The sealant (and coatings) game has come a long way in the last few years.

I'm not a nut about wax, I've used either Mothers or Meguiars wax, and 303 Protectant for the black and plastic bits. Clay bar when new and usually every other year. I don't get too crazy about it. I try not to run my truck through a car wash and unless it's super filthy I'll just use a detailing spray and microfiber cloths to keep her clean. Seems to work out well for my last vehicle. It looked great when I traded it in. The one before that I never did anything to it and the finish looked awful a few years later.

 Well you contributed to the dealers bottom line. Basically paid a premium for a sealant.

Caution every one on a dealer's paint protection package ....especially one owned by an insurance company.

I wasn't even aware of these things.
I picked up an EagleOne prep mitt at AutoZone for $25 and just did my truck. Wow!
It's so much easier & faster; for me, it takes about 1/3 of the time. It doesn't leave any residue; or clay on ppf or trim.
    Thank you.
