Hey bud. Why are you switching to the compustar? i have the same Viper system in my truck and it works great including the cold start (no need for plugging it in if you have the fuel and money.

    Are those the SCS rims?

Thought I would share some pictures I took while taking my tacoma around for fun and games out in the Phenomenal Victoria Weather. I am just starting to dabble in this so if anyone else knows more about photography then me message me about how to keep the damn water off my lens lol

I kinda wish I knew how to make them smaller on here so you can just click to view... I can edit if someone knows how to do this.PC120160.jpg PC120177.jpg PC120217.jpg PC120330.jpg PC120352.jpg PC120550.jpg PC120572.jpg PC120632.jpg

Pics look good. Pretty stormy over there? You can attach as thumbnail rather than full image for smaller pics

I installed a 24" LED light bar behind the lower front valence today. I was able to do it without taking off the front bumper. Tapped the holes in the crash bar supports and attached a 3"x3' of 16 gauge flat iron. Then I was able to drill holes to mount the bar. Looks great.

    yes scs sr8s.

Both are rated at 1mile. I work at a specialty shop for vehicles 12volt accessory, we tested both and compustar actually is more than 1mile, the viper only went up to 3500'. I have a manual transmission, compustar is easier to set for manual transmission mode. Also like the das sensor 3in1 tlit, shock and accelerometer.
And last the remote 2way battery life last just over a week and sometimes when fully charged when I hit unlock it gives me a chirp that the remote is low batt lol. I've replaced my remote 3 times already under warranty within 2 years.
I have compustar 901 on the other vehicle and it lasts 3weeks.
