ShoeCreek (va) is the only other place I've been in the snow but that's shut down too. Potts mountain is nearby there though. @EddyRRT we could go back to windrock!

So, who has painted aluminum wheels before? I've had procomp aluminum wheels on my truck for the last ten years... I got a wild hair and wanted to polish them up but the wild hair was quickly plucked when all the little specks on the rim didn't budge after 45 mins of scrubbing one ONE.... Totally not interested in touching the other 3.

4wheel parts has the same rims in black for 98$ ea...

    Thoughts?

Not perfect but definitely not tan anymore. The second can started to act up on me on my last coat and speckled it a lil. I still need to clear coat it....scared to wet sand my new paint.

Yeah I don't enjoy it at all! But when you drive around with a tan door on a green car long enough it starts to get to you lol

Thanks. Definitely an upgrade compared to what was on there. Still debating if I want to paint them....

They don't look that bad.. You could always paint them with truck bed liner which would hold up to wheeling .. Granted some say too many coats can throw off the weights on the wheels causing balanced issues but it would be the case with every painted wheel in my opinion.. I would rock them as they are.. On a 1gen it adds the right amount of age like a fine wine...
