iPhone and entune text problems

Hi guy I have a iPhone 6s and have been trying to get the text massages to show up on the screen. I been looking around and tried "show notifications" and it lets me open the massages window. But it doesn't show any massages. I had a text come in and still no luck. Has anyone been able to get it to work with an iPhone 6s?

It do show and read but sometimes it work sometimes it doesn't

 

If your iMessage is open to a certain contact you won't receive that person's texts until you close it. You should receive others though.

 

Thanks for the clue. That would explain why the test messages to myself didn't work.

 

Please give me a bit more detail what I can do to make it work

 

Did you enable notification in your blue tooth settings?

 

yes I did that but nothing shows up

 

Did you download the Entune app?

wow... I am surprised that anyone wants the text messages appearing on the screen. It will only be a matter of time until someone in the passenger seat sees a text that is going to get you into trouble.

 

Good thing it doesn't show images!

 

I don't know why it's not working. I would have to look in my truck to see if the settings are different.

 

We are in the same boat. I've done the same things and get the same results. Hopefully we (or Toyota, or Apple) will find a solution.

 

I know it won't work if there is emoji's in the message.

 

While you are driving it wont show it it will only read it. You have to be stopped for it to show. Safety feature.

 

I finally got one text when I was not plugged in to the usb.

 

Try turning on the "Hey Siri" function. That seams to have resolved the issue with my iPhone 8 and 2016 Tacoma
