    Goodyear Wrangler TrailMark 31's. F.B's 2.75" spacer, TRD rear shocks, stub antenna, ripped out charcoal filter added AFE dry, Chrome grille, upgraded to SR5 sun visors, variable wipers, backup camera, HID DDM 35w 5000kv, ebay fogs w/yellow LEDs.
    Thanks for all the info and advice Ill think about running a spacer but I don't want to. I'd rather avoid turning full lock and wait to find more suitable rims. Im thinking 15" mustang wheels. They're 20mm offset and 7" wide plus i can find them cheap on Craigslist.
    Or I'll just spend the 500 for some proper alloys. I really want to avoid putting all that gear on my wheels to center and make them stick out further. But im sure I'll have to.

    Are you still running the stock lug nuts on those Accord wheels? I'm pretty sure that most Honda wheels use ball seat lug nuts and the Taco uses cone seat.
    You can probably get away without using the hub ring if you're careful tightening the lugs down... I got away with it using Odyssey rims on my 5-lugger. They were 16" with a 14mm cone seat style lug nut and I didn't have wobbles or issues with lug nuts working themselves loose.

    yes im still running the stock lugs and no issues. I take my truck to the dealer for service and they havent said anything about fitment.
    But I just ordered some ION Alloy Style 71 rims so hopefully no more Accord rims:)

    I think i might need to get new lugs and for sure hub rings for the new wheels.

    is this the official measurement of our stock steelies?

    I thought they were +40, but can't recall where I found that info............

    I'd like to go from the 15x6 to a 15 or 16 x7, changing the offset so the inner clearance is fine, but a bit more depth on the outside.

    I'm interested in a bit of a 'hot rod' look. Steel wheels, trim ring, dog dishes look over or by the lugs.

    Like a Crown Vic police wheel.

    To be honest, i'm not completely sure on the stock offset. I've seen 40, 42, 45 cited. I may even have it mixed up with my own aftermarket 16" rim offset. Half an hour's googling shows no obvious 'official' citation, just unofficial confusion on my part.

    Good luck finding hubcentric rings that are 60.1mm to 83.06mm. Haha. I looked everywhere for them since my aftermarket wheels have a bore width of 83.06, but couldn't find it. Instead, I had to order them from a website that makes custom rings which were kinda expensive :(

    Are your lugnuts tapered cone or flat bottomed? It's dependent on how the wheel is made.

    Wheels that have cone lugs do not need to be hub-centric, they are by nature lug-centric. I've installed lots of wheels that the centerbore was larger than the hub. Do it right, and you'll never have a problem.

    They were tapered conical lug nuts. I got the wheels installed at my father's friend's auto/body shop and they advised me to get the hub centric rings - usually they won't install new wheels without them. I decided against it until my commute to work. I work in Washington DC so I drive on the highway a lot and noticed some crazy vibrations after I exceeded a certain speed. Put the rings on. Vibrations gone.

    Sorry, they were just installed wrong. The rings forced you to install them correctly. It's ok, it happens. Point is only not to panic if you lose a ring.

    There Focal X 16" with 235/70/16 . Might i add that I was able to use my stock steel rim tpsm sensors on aluminum rims. You can see sensor in one pic on the rim. the tire came pre installed from tirerack. with no aftermarket tpsm just a regular valve. I just broke the bead and swapped out the valves (No Adapter used) and no extra balance weight needed. And YES thoughts cool stickers i added. The center cap is a 3D sticker.

    Not to get off topic but, i'm looking at rims and can't decide whether to go with 15x7 or 15x8.
    was thinking the 15x8 so if I sell the truck someone can put bigger tires on, I only plan on putting 235 on it.
    15x8 = -19mm offset 3.75 back spacing
    15x7 = -6mm offset 3.75 back spacing

    can anyone help tell me if it's worth going with the 15x8 or should I just get the 15x7 since i'm just putting 235s on?

    also will 30x9.5 fit on 15x7?

    I was in the same pickle and couldn't decide which one to go for. I ended up getting the 15x8 -19mm offset with 3.75in BS and couldn't be more happier with my choice. It made the wheels/tires pop out more, instead of being all tucked in. I have them mounted on 235/75r15 size tires
