What have you done to your Tacoma today? 1st Gen Edition

Nice rig! Even though it has jeep parts under it... Digging that color

 

At least parts that Dana made for Jeep...

 

I'm chasing similar after the Whiteline bushings and TC UCA. I'll post if I ever get a place to flex/stress them and figure out what it is.

Who Ray for me. Tomorrow (12/14/2015) I shall retrieve my 2002 Tacoma with a brand new frame (went in on 09/11/2015). I suppose the dealer will want his 2015 Tacoma back but that is ok it is a four door and barely fits into my garage. have posted foto of rusted frame.

 

That's really cool. Anybody else do that on 1st gens? A writeup would be cool.

yes, but now its like this.


and yes i know, the welding looks horrible, one im still practicing, two we didnt take the time to grind everything to get down to good steal, and we had a leak in our gas house... that we didn't find tell later. I still kinda suck at welding anyway lol.

edit: I'm guessing the H1s because space is at a premium in those small housings.

 

I did my transmission flush today.



Note, when you unbolt the filter, about another cup or so of fluid will dump out. Just be forwarned.

 

They're are H1s, I can probably fit a feeler gauge between the back of my housing and the battery so D2s wouldn't have really fit lol. Still much better light output than my eBay halogen conversion. (Let's ignore the existence of sealed beams)
