    All pro 3 link SAS kit, Diamond axle, kings on 37" MTR/K
    Biggest reason I won't get a swing out tire gate is it will add over a foot to the length of the truck, and then I'd have to relocate the factory reverse camera. Also I'd have to buy a matching wheel for the spare...
    I'd rather just get a plain high clearance.

    I'm still going back and forth between high clearance and standard. I don't want a swingout, I'm a reverse parker and I need to access the bed more than the spare. I'd end up leaving my spare under the truck with high clearance or standard. I guessi could throw it in the bed to go wheeling, but I haven't dragged it on anything yet. tow hitch, shackles, and tailpipe all have been hit, though.

    Get the high clearance! I kinda wish I did. If you do, I would move the spare from under the truck. You would have a "high clearance" bumper with a low clearance spare under there.

    I don't want to regret my decision either way, but the high clearance is only in the rear corners and after the tire. Under the license plate, the departure angle is the same. If something was big enough to hit the spare, I don't think the diff will be making it over it anyway. I need to go look at more pics and measure my truck.. again..

    Yeah, they don't look much different besides the armor you get in back of the tire, because the bumper extends all the way to the fender. I've never measured or seen the two bumpers next to each other though.

    Half of my tire will be sticking out from under the HC. Right now my trailer hitch is partially covering it. But with the HC there's no trailer hitch to hide it..might have to strap it in the bed....:pout:

    After looking at it again, with the pelfrey standard or HC, the spare would be the first thing to drag since it wouldn't be protected from the factory tow hitch anymore.
