    Hey all, looking at that link that @tcBob sent, that little girl has gotten a HUGE amount of mail (F*CK YEAH!!!) I'm thinking I may just donate to the link that was posted previously. I am afraid that if we got her something Disney Specific given the sheer quantity of mail that she may not receive it in time.     That's an understatement.....it made me just bust out in tears for a good 20 seconds.......While I don't have any kids of my own my nephews are practically like sons to me so seeing any child get injured or loose a parent was frankly just gut wrenching and unbearable to think about.

    Every time I told this story to my kids I had a hard time. They were so kind and caring making their cards for her. Lots of them came in today telling me that they saw a story on the news or knew someone that was getting her a card.
    So cool to hear that there are still people that give a shit in the world.
    I loved the lesson that my kids learned by the holidays are always about getting something.

    If my nephews were old enough to understand I would have had them help me, but ones only 2 and the other is 3mo's. And you're right, it is nice to see that folks even if they are few and far between give a shit about someone else who they don't know but just feel sympathy for. It could so easily be any of us. I will go use that fundraising sight as well.....I think you are exactly right it gives the family flexibility in how to use those funds.     What an adorable, strong, beautiful little girl. I cried reading that story. Looks like I have a card project to work on tonight with my 6 year old girl. We will make her a card and I'll show her how I can "pay" on the computer tonight to help out this sweet little girl. :thumbsup:
