18-21 mixed consistently on a Stage 2, 2004 STI... it hit full throttle every day...

My truck this winter has been 12 - 14. That's with BFG KO2s, and 480lbs of salt in the back... so not great circumstances, but it's definitely left me unimpressed.

Hello From Mexico guys. So work has me traveling between Mexico and the US and I decided to buy a truck for Mexico. Loved the new Taco and ordered a 2016 Trd Sport 4X4 but apparently Mexico is sold out for at least 8 months because of the high demand for the truck in the US. Dealer called me and said they had a cancelation and i was next on the list so it looks like i will be getting my Taco by the end of January or beginning of February. I wanted the TRD Offroad since i do plan on exploring some trails and remote places in the Yucatan peninsula and Belize but apparently Mexico got screwed with the Trd offroad version we did not get it.

Ive got a couple of questions for you guys since my plans include to modify the Taco and turn it into a light expedition vehicle.

1-Anyone running a bike tailgate pad? What size did you order?
2-Can I install the rear lsd from the offroad in the sport, or should i go aftermarket?
3-What lift kit options do you guys suggest for a 2-3 inch lift?
    4-Any winch mounts out yet?
    5-Any grill mounts out yet?

The off-road has a locker...all of the trucks have brake based lsd's. Probably be better off going with an aftermarket locker than trying to retrofit the OEM locker.
Not sure on your other questions

Test drove our loaner when it was brand new. Just took it 200+ miles on Tuesday, has just over 2000 on it now. I do have to say much more enjoyable driving it after it got some miles on it. Throttle response is so much better it's feels like the 2nd gens it just revs a little higher.
Still has a slight rough idle every so often and shift flares but there will probably be a reflash soon

Did you order one specifically for the truck, or will a gen II shell fit on a '16? I am looking to possibly buy one used is why I ask.

Ordered Xtravision from SnugTop specifically for the 2016 Tacoma.

New Tacoma short bed is slightly larger by a few inches but enough to require a shell redesign.

Really practical and quality after market option.

This with a topper on it (and racks on the topper) would be great. I think the stock OR wheels look great and this lift is just enough to look aggressive but not overly-redneck.

That's because the Hero Session is a huge disappointment for the line. I have seen and been contacted for survey's about what I like / dislike about mine. They can't even give them away to the athletes to use because they aren't using them over the Hero4.

They screwed up royally when they didn't make the battery removable / replaceable. Battery life is the biggest issue plaguing the design on all the models. So they figured for some stupid reason to make a smaller unit with a battery you have to charge up everytime to use.

They just need to realize their current case design needs to change and be updated. All the mounts etc need to still work and I would look to buy another one.

Might have to lower the price in order to get sales back. They are pricey.
