I have a 2011 Tacoma and this morning I get in to turn my heater and nothing happens. I put it in all the settings there is an nothing. When I switch it to turn on I hear the compressor turn on for the ac but no ac comes out. I recently bought the truck and ever since I got it I heard this clicking noise in the glove department do y'all have any idea what it is.

Did the climate control functions(A/C & Heat) work when you bought the truck?

Now you know why the truck was for sale. 2011 is not that old of a vehicle. I'd bet a buck some electrical hack caused this and other problems that have yet to unfold.

That means nothing. Dealers take vehicles in on trade. While I despise dealerships in general, there is no way for them to know the complete status of every vehicle they accept on trade.

Buying from a dealer is no guarantee you purchased a good vehicle.

I would take it back to the dealer and see what they have to say.

I would if it were my truck. Don't be surprised if you get the brush-off from the dealer, especially if this is an intermittent issue. They won't attempt to fix until it's in a consistently failed state.

Ok I will think about it because I really don't have time to be in the dealership just for them to tell me they did not find anything

I just caught your post about the $50 hack radio install. If the climate control worked when you left the dealership and started to fail after the hack radio install, you know who caused the problem.

You get what you paid for. I wouldn't bet spit that the hack radio shop will review their work. You'll likely need to hire a legit tech to trouble-shoot and resolve the issue.

Weathertech floor liners moded to hold OEM floor mats, weathertech vent visors, Toyota bed mat, LEER 100XL cap, hood gasket mod to stop whistling.
    1. Open your glove box, remove the dampening cylinder on the right side, remove the glove box door, open the trap door and remove the cabin air filter, reach in and see if the fan spins by hand.
    2. Check above the passengers feet and insure that the resistor is still plugged in, wiggle the connector and see if the fan starts, remove the resistor plug and see if it's melted inside.
    3. I'm suspicious of a failed fan because it was clicking, but it may be obstructed, failed, or you have a bad fan resistor.

I have that same vibration when slowing down on the highway or around town. It's not bad but I do notice it. I have new brakes and rotors. Seems to happen more when everything is hot after driving for a bit. Notice it more when in heavy traffic. Is this normal? Plus I have that clicking sound in my AC blower as well under the glove box. Super annoying on long drives when you need AC/heater

I hear it could be warped rotors or something with the drum brakes. I'm pretty sure they did a TSB on the Clicking sound coming from the AC blower. My dealership said it sounds fine haha

How did they fix the vibration issue? They were trying to charge me just to test drive and check the issue. I just got the truck 3 weeks ago from the same dealer!

Plus they did a free inspection and said my brake fluid was contaminated. Do they even check these used vehicles before they are sold? It's a Toyota dealership
