Really looking into the tri-fold tonneau cover, mine didn't come to one- what are the opinions out there on them? Is it something a somewhat handy person can install solo, with a friend and a few beers or better to let an accessory shop handle?

    Fixed my mud flaps.
They needed additional support towards the inside; they were twisting in towards the tire.
I didn't want to drill, so I used some 1/4-20 u-clips slipped around the fender liner.

You may not be getting the factory cover, depending on when you order and if you're getting a long bed. Toyota pulled the long bed covers last month due to supplier issues (assuming quality and quantity). They put it on hold from my order in October, and dropped it completely last month. I ended up buying the Extang 2.0, which is reviewed pretty heavily in its own thread.

That's a NEGATIVE to all your questions! Won't open towards the tailgate, and won't fold all the way up. I still like it, but also on the fence about getting a camper shell.

No spacer, no rubbing as far as I can tell. It seems a little rough when fully turning the wheel in 4 wheel drive. The wheels I have are 8.5" wide I believe and the stock rims are 7" maybe? Hope that helps.

It looks like I have the same steps and had a similar issue with the front bolt on each side. I could not get the bolt to line up properly and pull close enough to get the bolt threads secure enough. I put a jack, with a piece of 2x4, under the forward most bracket and jacked it into place. Once in place the bolts lined up fine.

I made the mistake of using my shoulder to push it in place long enough to put the bolt in. Bruised both shoulders.

Officially, finally, brought it home. Slapped the Huskys in. Will do the 5" ovals and Extang 2.0 this weekend when there is light. Winter sucks - it's dark when I leave in the morning and dark when I get home.

Pics when I'm done. Well, okay here's one.
