I have already upgraded my system, but have been bit by the bug again. I'm definitely going to put an audison bit one. I bought some a pillar and kicker panels for the truck though and want to completely revamp all the speakers. I have never heard either herts or hybrid in person so I'm wonder if any of you have had both and have opinions. Thanks for any help!

    They're both really awesome brands.

I prefer Hertz. Especially the Mille series.

Finally went and listened to hertz. Guy had the exact same set up (speaker's) that I want to do in my truck. They sound amazeballs! I think I'm going to change out the JL900/5 for a similar Phoenix Gold amp and 2 Phoenix slim mount 12's now. I listen to EDM music sometime's and would like the extra bass there. Also decided not to put the kicker panels in. It would probably be overkill.

Yeah, kicker panels can be pretty inconvenient to have, as well. Let's see some pics of those A-Pillars when you get them installed! Which Hertz speakers did you listen to?

He had a pair of HSK163 components in the front and hsk165XL components in the back. But he had the elite5 from Phoenix gold powering them. I would get the TI21600.5 since I don't need all the power for subs. I would have 2 SXT12D2's so 800 watts to the sub Chanel is plenty.

Thanks for the info. I ended up doing the hybrid group buy. I got the L6se, L3se, L1 Pro R2, for the fronts. Then the Clarus 6.5 Component set for the back. I got an arc 2 channel amp to run the front mids. then the Phoenix Gold Ti1600.5 to run the highs and the back doors along with Two phoenix gold sxt12d4's. Just have to order the bit one and have it installed. im probably going to be selling the old system that was in my truck already.
