Just added this to the stable today.
Only other pistols are full size M&P40 with TLR-1 (truck gun), and an arminius arms 22 revolver (8 shot double action, passed down from my dad).
I tend to focus more on acquiring rifles and shotguns since that's most of my shooting.

    Eventually I'd like to get a Sig SP2022 (Or 226 tacops), SR22, XDS, 686+, and glock 19.

I also picked up a Winchester SX3 for waterfowling. I'm looking forward to taking it out this weekend.

It's been fine for the most part. But I have seen a few complaints from a couple pages I follow. I'm sure if it's a big enough issue they'll fix it

I"ll always remember the Calico used in the movie Stone Cold. My Dad had an FFL back then and I remember drooling over them in the catalogs. Still remember the term, "Helical feed".

Plus if you don't reload yourself, you can save your brass and send it in and they'll give you a discount/coupon

More rifles than pistols, more pistols than shotguns (barely)

I've actually been extremely impressed with the accuracy from my Savage 64. Where it's a cheap semi-auto with a $30 Tasco I wasn't expecting a whole lot, but it'll group inside a quarter at 50 yards freehand if I do my part. And it'll shoot minute-of-squirrel all day long at pretty much any range.

Lots of people don't like them. I'm not one of them, but a buddy of mine loves the Springfield XD's and loathes Glocks. I'm the opposite, where Glocks are comfortable for me and I don't like how the XD products fit my hand. They don't point as naturally for me for some reason; I always have to make a small correction to get the proper sight picture.

But, if I'm honest, I like my S&W 5906 and my Ruger SR1911 better than my Glock. I'm old fashioned like that; I like the feel of steel, lol.

I picked up a Star Firestar Plus a looooong time ago. Weighs a ton, small, packs 13 rounds. Love carrying it because I know it's there, but it doesn't show. Thank God I grabbed some extra mags when I did - Star went out of business a few years ago.

Must've run 5000 rounds through it, and it still looks new. Spanish steel FTW!

I know plenty of people who dislike Glocks. Mostly because the bulky frame.

Bulky? Yeah, maybe the .45 frames, which is why they made the SF model. How many people is "plenty"?

My time working at a gunshop, I couldn't believe people's taste in firearms. Gun shows move a lot of the cheaper ones, Bersa etc, but even back at the shop, why one would gravitate towards a Taurus 1911, while there's a slightly used Colt with a little holster wear for the same price right next to it....face palm.
