On Saturday after getting my 15k free oil change I took a drive to SDHQ. I wanted to see if they had a lube that wouldn't turn solid when I applied it. I purchased some of this stuff

    http://store.sdhqoffroad.com/bel-raymolylubespraycoating.aspx

Sprays on like paint but within a few cranks of the wheels after coating the uppers and lowers she's quiet again.
We had rain yesterday and its still nice and quiet. Hopefully this did the trick and will be the solution for the weather here.

Depends on who and what you go with. I just did a full prep on a FJ with a Total Chaos LT kit that had about 100k on the setup. Lowers were done but upper uniballs were still tight.

AFAIK, Total chaos is the only one to use a stainless uniball.

100k on the uppers and lowers, that's good mileage!

I'm hoping I don't have to rebuild my uppers at this point with only 40k on both. TC said that 50k seems to be the magic number when people start to rebuild the lowers. I wish they had a UB and Poly kit for the lowers vs buying separately.
Oh well, they've been great. I'll look to rebuild in the next 10k.

Lots of bolt on chrome stuff
Iirc, icon uses stainless FK uniballs, but the off the shelf FK replacements are not stainless. An icon rep posted somewhere on the Internet that the stainless balls were made in bulk for icon specifically... take this with a grain of salt as I do not have reputable source.
