So could you technically run out of a resource sooner or later? Or i'm assuming you could grow and trade for shipments of what you need?

 

I've never run out. There's always stuff to find. Perhaps some of it does respawn.

 

No. Entire areas will reset including all of the loot. I think it is at least randomized slightly... different ammo and maybe different locations for some of the junk laying around. I [CLEARED] multiple places for sure and after awhile they were no longer cleared and all enemies/loot re-spawned. This irritated me because I was on a mission to [CLEAR] the whole map but when I found out they would reset I gave up on it.

There are some exceptions though... Power armor does not respawn. Legendary weapons/armor sitting on the ground will not respawn (legendary enemies will respawn). I do not think uniquely named bosses respawn... generic bosses will. I have noticed that not all areas will reset... or maybe they take longer. The Witch Museum in the north east of commonwealth has been cleared for nearly 75 hours in my game. Other areas have reset in under 12 hours.

 

Is anyone on PC running Windows 10? I'm on 8.1 right now with zero issues and I'm tempted to upgrade, but I don't want driver issues.

 

Windows 10 is way better than 8.1 in my opinion. All of my drivers updated no problem. You should be fine.

From a tech perspective, it is superior. However, with all the snooping and ignoring your orders to stop uploading who-knows-what to Redmond and forced 'upgrading' and such, I won't touch it with a '10' foot pole.

Oh, and the FDIC gave us a simple 'put that on your network and we'll pull your cert' off-the-record chat as well.

7 is a GREAT OS. I only moved to 8.x on my rig when I went to an SSD, as the performance is a lot better for it. If I were still on spindle drives, I'd still be on 7.

 

I honestly think 7 is perfect, they should have just kept updating software instead of replacing it so soon with 8, only to realize that was too much tablet software to run a desktop effectively

 

10 rolled back to the way 7 was in a lot of ways. No more side bar menu. They moved it back to the bottom left like Windows 7 and all prior. Metro UI is optional, can be enabled/disabled. All the bull shit tablet stuff from 8 is basically gone in 10.

 

Except the telemetry, tracking, ads you can't turn off, personal data sharing you can't disable, hosts file it'll flat-out ignore, etc

 

I understand that, just dont get why they essentially made a new platform when updates on the old could have made it the same.

Back on topic, i have one last bobble head to find and im almost level 50 with 72hours of gameplay now

This. I'm on 10 now. There are some legitimate complaints related to what information it collects if you don't turn all that crap off and ditch explorer. Otherwise, for me, it's been deadly stable and a better OS overall. A little dumbed down though.

 

Places like ArcJet and the Corvega plant too. Lots of salvage. I often end up making two or three trips just to carry everything out.

 

Is anyone having issues with the game constantly syncing to the cloud?

 

I'm on PC and don't do this, that I know of

 

Cake pans and hub caps too. They contain 3 each. Not to mention aluminum cans too.
