I was looking to lift my truck because I'm getting ready to buy some new tires. I was looking at the Toytec 3 inch lifts one was with new coils and and a top plate spacer with the aal in the back. The other one was with bilstein 5100 and new coils and a aal in the back. Which one would be a better lift my truck has 95000 miles on it and I want to use the factory rims. It is a TRD Sport.

I also don't know which tire size to go with I don't want to be cutting into truck. Would 265 70 17 look good with a 3 inch lift?

Adding a AAL to a leaf pack with 95k on it might not be the best idea..

So you think I should get a new leaf pack? I think think my truck has sagged some I can tell when it is next to a newer Tacoma.

AAL will only be a band-aid..might as well get a new pack now. It will be better.

It's going to be 'sticker shock' compared to the cheap AAL.

However, if you AAL to your current pack, I can guarantee you that you'll be sagging soon, and it'll be pronounced b/c your nose will be up higher. You'll end up just having to replace the packs pretty soon anyways. Recommend just doing it now.

Let us know what you end up doing!

Do the leaf packs usually give out like that? The only thing I have had to do to mine as put new tabs in because they were squeaky.

I've tried aal's on several trucks over the years. To be perfectly honest, I'd MUCH rather use blocks than aal's....Aal's kill leaf springs eventually. .A well designed leaf pack is the BEST option. A good friend of mine owns a shop where they custom build leaf springs for a company that fits aftermarket truck beds for new trucks coming off the assembly line (@ Louisville "Super Duty" plant) He's building me a complete set of rear springs that'll me going on my truck shortly after the 1st of the year. Especially if you plan on hauling anything in your Tacoma, better rear springs are a MUST.

Anything you add to the stock leaf pack will be a bandaid. They might be a longer lasting bandaid over the single AAL, but your best bet is to replace the leaf pack completely
