Well yards typically charge more than a private sale. If you're looking to sell the one off your truck complete, I'd say $800 is a fair price if its under 150k miles and everything is good (locker, drums, seals, etc)

    Quick electrical question:

So in an attempt to clean up my wiring I bought a bussman box and I'm thinking it isn't going to clean much up until I add more accessories. So I was thinking getting a small blue sea block and using that in addition to my box. I'd like to move my retrofit, CB and my subwoofer and anything else that I may have (haven't checked) to the blue sea and just use my bussman for lights.

This makes sense in my head but then again I'm not very good with electrical. Thoughts?

    Thanks

Does your Bussman not have and extra fused spots? Mine has 5 fused relays and 5 open spots for accessories like a CB, retrofit, etc.

As for your sub (amp), I wouldn't recommend running off of anything except directly to the battery.

    Head unit. That's it.
I get quite a bit of shake on my lights...is there any way to dampen the mount to where it doesn't shake, or is that just part of it. (I don't really want to admit that they are mounted to a bull bar...as that is in the plans to be nixed, but I assume that is most of the problem...)

It can have 6 total but I plan on having 6 light switches (6 accessories), which is why I wanted to do the blue sea.

    10-4 on the amp

Edit: nevermind I'm stupid, its got 5 relays and then 5 fused accessories

You're putting 6 switches on separate fuses?

    Hmm, odd...

Does your Bussman have 10 locations for fuses like this?

It does, I just realized how it works fully, I just assumed it only could have 6 accessories. So I'm just going to go sit in a corner.

So if I were to add an accessory that has a relay (assuming I've already used up all the other relay spots) I would just tap into the certain spot with the relay attached to my accessory?

(if that is clear enough ha)

It's all good. These things are complicated if you just buy one like we have haha

Yes, if you want to run more than the 5 relays already available, you would run it to one of the avalaible fused locations just as if it was the positive terminal on your battery.

Like you can see in this pic, the one red wire that runs out of sight to the bottom left of the picture is just a wire that is fused by the 15 amp fuse in the previous pic I posted. The 4 little green plugs between the looped red wires are before I added additional wiring to allow for 4 more fused wires.

Yeah, they're definitely nice to have.

Word of advice, label EVERYTHING your wire to it. I also highly recommend running quick disconnects for all your wires as well.

I'm doing that right now, the big 3 that is. It's been fun, and deciphering the POs handy work has made it that much better for me. Feels good to put crappy work right though.
