    I do too so it should be fine, that's good to hear that you got it so fast. I ordered a TRD antenna from eBay and it took over 2 months to get here

    Christian, I saw you have a dual USB charger in your power point and it looks like you were able to also keep the cover for the power point. tHis is exactly what I want to do. Where did you get your USB charger and are you able to close and latch the cover?

    Thanks Rock Lobster, you answered my question. Think I will order a switch to fit in the blank on the left and go from there. I have the older truck where I have no switches under the climate controls.

    I had put in the extra power point in place of the cig.lighter. I guess what I meant to sayisI don't have the extra blanks under the climate controls like the newer trucks.

    so you ended up going the route of the usb + aux instead of the two USB? I ordered the two USB, one charges and one interfaces with the radio so it should provide USB audio + charge.

    Hoping mine will arrive today or tomorrow, it was in Miami as of 12/23.

    My 2009 has one but I've never used it and I haven't even checked to see if it will work with the 2014 stereo I installed. That being said, i'm just going to leave it in there and add the 2 USB ones. I understand your quandary, I don't like giving up (unused) OEM features for aftermarket stuff.

    Looked into swapping in a panel, seems like I have to tear my dash pretty much apart. I think it is more than I feel I can handle. I checked out your thread detailing what you went through when you installed your panel. You pretty much tore your whole dash a part.

    I have a Pioneer 7100NEX HU and if I plug my iPhone into the USB port coming off the back of the HU I get CarPlay to function. I'm looking for a nice clean way to have the USB port in the dash below the A/C and heater controls. Here is a link to a product that I think I can use to accomplish this. The lower USB port labeled "Audio" would be plugged into the back of the HU and should then provide CarPlay when I hook my iPhone to the audio USB plug in. Anybody out there care to comment?
