Ah I see. That makes since. Well it seems you wouldn't want to go to big since its going to be hard to heat up a bigger space.

Loving what your doing man! Country looks awesome!

The ko2s look nice. Nothing great though. Wasn't super taken aback with them on bens rig. Supposed to perform good though.

I think an AT will suit you just fine here in Wyoming. I doubt you will be held back by the AT much, if any at all.

We'll find out. I can't wait to have some snow traction back.

We talked about that a bit on the trip if it was worth keeping MTs. Ben of course was saying he didn't miss his at all. But he missed out on the one trail where we could have proven it. Will be interesting for sure. I doubt it's a big difference though. And for a non dedicated rig it's a smart choice.

Interested in checking out the trails around snowy range and in the medicine bow NF this next summer, is there anything difficult up there, or mainly just graded roads?

Nothing difficult, occasionally you may come across something that would possibly challenge a stock truck. There are a few areas that can get pretty muddy/nasty. Bout it though.

Some dog news, Ash tore his carpal pad about 15 minutes ago. Man, do those thing bleed! I thought it was far worse when I saw a trail of blood and then his bloody ankle. Just a small tear. I am leaving it open for a bit and I will get some bandages after I get done with the gym.

Thanks, kinda what I was expecting looking at the maps. Looks like some good spots to go fishing and hiking though.

There are something like 90 alpine lakes up there, many of them are stocked. The fishing/hiking is well worth the trip. You can even get into some golden trout.

Archer did that awhile back, bled like hell. I just wrapped it in gauze for a few days and it closed up on it's own. He damn near ripped the whole pad off.

This is my first experience with this happening but apparently it is pretty common. Some dogs rip them clean off and they just grow back.

He is doing great. Doesn't seem to be in pain, just doing the normal dog thing to do and licking it.

There really doesn't seem to be any pain, when Archer tore his, he kept on playing and rough housing like it never happened. Never flinched or gave me a hard time when i wrapped it either.

he'll be fine. Satchamo tears all his pads almost every trip. Gonna try boots this summer. But he limps around for a while and then is fine.

Finally got a good parking spot at the school without getting there super early. The plow truck drivers left a nice pile of snow on the street. Just big enough for stock trucks and all cars to get stuck. Not BabyT
