I see the left rear tire came off the rim too. All in all it mainly looks like doors and fenders from what we can see.

Yea, I saw that too. I don't know, other people in line. I won't hesitate to go look at it, but I won't be terribly disappointed if someone else picks it up. I already have enough projects on my hands haha.

Im curious why insurance would be totaling it out so he gets a payout and can buy the salvage title. A 2007 is still worth ~20k+ from a quick googling. The damage shown just doesnt quite add up to an insurance company being willing to give him 20k vice paying to fix it.

I dunno seems fishy to me and Id do a damn good inspection

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
Typically, insurance will offer a cheap buy back with a salvage title after it's "totaled" out. So, 7k is probably what it is worth to the insurance company with that damage and salvage title.

To the PNW tire gurus -
I am currently on 33" KM2s with E rating on pizza cutters.
looking to go to 33-34" MT-R with less than E rating and wider.

    Now the questions:
    1. How true to tire size are the MT-Rs? Meaning if I ask for a 33", it truly is a 33", not a 32.5 or a 33.5.
    2. Benefits over the KM2/MT-R?

MTR's typically run big, my 285 MTR's are 32 7/8" when new. After getting these ill never get another off road tire, love mine. Best in every condition i've experienced so far.

New Master/Slave cylinder didn't help; figured I'd start with the easiest first... On my way to buy a transmission jack after I finish my desultory hot chocolate...

Don't forget about the URD throw out bearing upgrade. Mine has been flawless for years. The stage 3+ clutch is pretty good too.

Roger. I should have everything torn down by tomorrow afternoon. I gave up for the evening trying to undo those shitty clips that retain the wiring harness to tranny.

Haven't ordered anything yet; figured I'd do the tear down and asses exactly what's going on.

They make a special tool. I just grab a wad of wires and pull on it like it owes me money.

It might be. When replacing the clutch, always surface the flywheel or get a new one. Carefully center the clutch with the alignment tool, and tighten the pressure plate in an alternate star pattern. On our trucks, the throw out bearing slides on the input shaft quill and easily binds. It is a poor design, the quill is soft aluminum. If you don't get the stainless quill from URD, at least smooth out the shaft and lube it well. Even with the URD set up, lube is important or the clutch will "hang" mid way. I've had my trans out several times, and always clean and lube the quill while I have access. If in doubt, read the book- http://www.customtacos.com/tech.old...6toyrm/06toypdf/06rmsrc/rm2006ta/02901610.pdf

I've had it out twice. First time I had my flywheel resurfaced by the idiots at O'reilys. They only ground down the main part, not the step. It chattered like hell and ruined my new clutch in 500 miles. Now it has a new OEM flywheel in it and another brand LCE pro clutch.
I cleaned and lubed everything both times. I just feel like my clutch pedal doesn't spring back nearly as strong or fast as other vehicles. After driving the manual Cummins I feel like my clutch doesn't even work haha.
What really irritates me is the sound it makes. It's pretty loud in a drive thru for instance. Kinda a chatter sound a little bit. And the TOB is always spinning with the clutch out in neutral. I've never gotten a definite answer if that's okay or not.

Did you adjust the clutch pedal? http://www.customtacos.com/tech.old...6toyrm/06toypdf/06rmsrc/rm2006ta/02900510.pdf Also did you install the URD upgrade?

Well, someone else got the dodge before me. Bit of a bummer, but oh well. Have a 42" curved led bar on the way the way for the Taco!
