my tile saw is decent for most projects, ...but if I could go back in time, i'd probably spring for the extra cost and purchase one more like this type!

    Its super awesome

The table and carriage have zero play in them , I spent about 6 hours today cutting 12x12 into 450 pieces @ 3 3/4 x 12 and every piece is literally exactly the same size

I also appreciated the LED work light thats built into the motor housing that illuminates the table when it got pitch black at 4:15 today and I was still cutting till 6:30

even the laser is accurate and adjustable

I usually scoff at lasers on power tools because in most of my wood working they aren't accurate enough but I think a good laser on the wet saw will be a help to line up cuts as generally there is a bit greater margin of required accuracy

Plus the head swings to 22.5 and 45 degrees and there are seperate indicator lights on the face of the saw that indicate when the head is swung to those two positions so you don't have to try to get your head behind the saw to check the mitre gauge

Looking for some suggestions for my mudroom Flooring. I currently have e old ratty carpet that was past its prime 20 years ago. I have mostly hardwood in the other rooms of the house with tile in the bathrooms and a main entryway. I have carpet in one room which is new and on the same level as the mudroom. I didn't want carpet in the mudroom though. Any suggestions? Vinyl, tile, painted concrete?

Have a question about a corrugated steel ceiling. I'm planning on putting some c. steel on my sons ceiling and was wondering if people think it will hold in the heat in the summer . My son's room is an upstairs room with the ceiling being the actual , angled roof , insulated of course , but the actual roof . I wasn't planning on putting anything between the sheet rock and the steel. Thanks for any ideas , suggestions .

While everyone else is asking questions...

Does anyone have any ideas for a tool that would help in digging a sump pump hole in a crawlspace? Its a terrible crawl space, maybe 18-24" tall max, but I have an access door above and slightly to the side of where I want to put the pump. Here in Missouri we practically grow rocks so that is a consideration. My thought was some sort of auger to loosen it up and transfer it out by bucket. I just read about the possibility of renting something called a vacuum excavator too.

Second question is, the company that I was originally planning to pay to do vapor barrier and pump installation was going to use a 5 gallon bucket and a lowe's bought cheapy sump pump. Anyone ever heard of using a 5 gallon bucket? There are sump pump basins for a reason so, I told them I wasn't paying them for that type of pump installation. They finished the vapor barrier, I paid for that portion and that was all. Now I need to install a pump before the next rain messes up the vapor barrier.

looking good, ..I understand the saw upgrade, ..that's quite a bit of cutting...

now, moving on to the sloped ceiling, ..that's an awfully steep gable, ...must be working up a ledger/support apparatus to keep the tiles from sliding out of place... :D
