car wash of pain!

    It happened, my rig was dirty and it was late 7:30pm and I figure "oh I'll just go through a carwash" psh and to top it off the carwash gas station will not cover any damages . Be careful and fold your mirrors before entering a drive through car wash!!!!

    damn..ive been through many of those gas station washes and never had this problem. what bad luck. i actually just gone through one myself few hours ago, touchless though.

    That sucks!!

    I guess it's always a chance you taking when going to a car wash and not doing it by hand.

    I have been wrestling with the idea of running mine thru a "touch less" car wash this winter. The car washes around here have 4" aluminum tubes bolted to the floor on each side that keep you from crowding one side or the other. Now I'm debating on if I should fold my mirrors in before pulling in the car wash or just keep using the hand bays.
