The barreled action is a 1968 Remington 700 Varmint Special, which was an inherited piece (but has a street value of ~$1100). The stock and pillars ran about $350 and I already had all the smithing tools, the time was the real cost in making this rifle. I'd like to get it out to the range a few times before it gets too cold.

doh!!! I meant yardage behind the rifle...not the cost of the build, which is drop dead gorgeous I might add!

Ok did a little research and apparently back in 2011 someone was on the verge of starting a DC brewery called low brau and they even have a web page and it has the 4Runner listed on page but the deal fell thru but I guess they kept the 4Runner signage on hopes of getting it going

I spent quite a bit of time in Houston (for my last job) and don't remember seeing many Toyota's. Lots of Ford F250 Texas Editions with those stupid star rims.

The number of 6" lifts on Chevy 2500s and Ford 3530s haunts me to this day.... OH GOD I CAN SEE THE SALT LIFE STICKERS.

Oh I'm aware, I lived in Pensacola before moving to Corpus Christi... I've seen the redneck coast in all of it's glory, some things I loved, some things I hated.

I actually had to grab that one from another site. The "bananadead" didn't fully express my disgust for salt life stickers.
