That's the other thing I might try. Depends on how hard it is to open it. Then to figure out how to make it light correctly.

Even then it might be difficult as you would need a constant 12V to power the + side of the LED and then switch in the ground as well. didnt you say there was an extra pin on the Switch as well? may be a way to make it work. would have to really see how everything is hooked up inside.

I'll take some pics if I get it apart. I'm sure it will be helpful to have a full diagram of the switch for others on here.

Couple of things done on the ho runner. Got the flush mount pods done. Front light bar is mounted. Had to hack up the lower valance a little more than I wanted but it's growing on me. Found a craigslist deal on a roof rack and got that mounted. Door is painted. Blue seas fuse box mount is cut out. @Sandman614 ran out of connectors so we still have to wrap some wiring up. Aironboard switches installed. New sway bar bushings and oba are in the mail. My wallet is hurting lol

The roof of my truck is getting absolutely molested by the sun.. It's fading, peeling, the whole gamut.. Any suggestions besides just wax the shit out of it? I've thought about just plastidipping it but I'm afraid it would a)look like shit and b) be really hard to remove.

Story of my ho runner. The hood and roof are peeling but I'm not going to worry with it.

Plasti dip is pretty easy to remove at first but after its left on for a while it does harden slightly and become much more difficult remove. I sprayed my stock tacoma wheels and after a year or took four hours to peel it off.

If your clear coat has not failed (peeling) It's likely that :itllbuffout: but you'll need to use a 'real' buffer not a wal-mart 'polisher'...and some cutting/polishing compound. I've been successful in correcting paint on more than a few vehicles
