I believe I saw somewhere on here that it only takes a day Good luck. I don't even have a build date. Ordered on 11/5

Build date is the day it rolls off the line. But then it sits on a lot awaiting rail delivery

I just started looking for a 16 TRD OR in Quicksand. I Stopped at a dealership yesterday to physically look at one. They had a white limited DC in stock..
For the truck I want (7562), they gave me a msrp quote of $36,159.00.

Base 2016 TRD OR AC $32,950.00
Premium & Tech (non jbl) $1480.00
    Tow package $650.00
All weather mats & door sills $179.00
    Delivery $900.00

    Invoice is $30,893 + listed options = $34,102
    + sales tax of approx 3k (in Wa.)= $37,102.00
    That's my math, any opinions?

I'd be more than happy to hop on a plane if that's what it takes, I could use a few days away from chaos anyway!!!!
Any advice on a decent dealership in Wa. would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks, J

That doesn't make any sense. Why it is 40k when the total is 37k?

Anybody have pricing information for Hawaii? I was at the dealership and the build codes are different. The DCSB TRDOR 4x4 auto is T9464 for example whereas the list here it is a 7544.

$700 each? You can get 4 for under $1000 pretty easily. Maybe there was a typo.

When I was building mine yesterday, it added $1000 to the MSRP. I imagine due to them not having to give me the OEM standard wheels/tires?

I picked up a set from ebay (Rodland Toyota of Everett) for $1100 with lug nuts.
The TPMS sensors from the stock aluminum wheels swapped right over.

I didn't know this, but when I ordered my Tacoma last week, I was able to order the premium audio without all the other stuff in the premium technology package. I didn't want the package because it contains the moon roof and I didn't need the blind spot monitors or whatever, but I am satisfied with the premium audio (not stellar by any means). When putting together my order, my manager said I can select to have premium audio without selecting the whole package. Just thought I would share that in case anyone else thought you had to get the whole package for those items. You will probably have to wait for your particular Tacoma to be configured because none will be delivered like that stock, but it is possible to configure it that way.

The audio is the same in the base TRD and the upgraded P&T package unless you also get JBL. You aren't getting JBL.

About to pull the trigger on a 2016 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 Double Cab Long Bed
    Base Model 7566A
    Vehicle Base Model: 34,340

    Tow Package 650
    Carpet FLoor w/Door Sill: 209
    Mudguards: 140

    Total MSRP: 36,239

    Out-the-door: 38,368
It's about 638 off the total MSRP, does this seem like a decent deal? Truck is already on order, should I negotiate less? Any insight is greatly appreciated! Thank you!

    Depends on your location.

    AZ, invoice +1000

CA seems to be MSRP or MSRP +5000

    SC, invoice + 250

    Take your pick

You can get better deals in CA if you get out of Southern California (say 200+ miles north), but yes, it's frustrating for us in CA to see the (relatively) good deals folks in other states are getting. Here in SoCal, the Tacoma is an "aspirational" vehicle. BMW's are like Honda Accords here and the kids all want Tacoma's. Us (relatively) old guys pay the price for that demand.
