I have run into this problem before.... I waited until he went to work and then I walked over and lit it on fire..... got charged with arson... but I couldn't see the trailer from my jail cell so in a way I solved my problem.... got out a couple months ago and bought a new Tacoma... life is going pretty great now.... :bananadead:

I would assume that if you called your county office and explained the situation without too much detail, that they'd be able to steer you to the correct person who is responsible for these kinds of things.

Yeah. Did that and was told to just keep the department of health and department of environmental quality in the back of my mind.

And for whoever suggested I pay for them to move it...haha, no.

I was thinking maybe the permit/zoning office would be someone to speak with, but I could be off. Land isn't my thing, yet.

In my area, this kind of situation is almost always a drug manufacturing/cultivating issue. Someone comes onto land, fills it full of garbage and turns it into an eyesore and a dump, makes as much cash as they can and then abandons everything - either to go elsewhere or because they are in jail.

I'm located in a rural, "unincorporated", area, so zoning rules and building codes do not apply.

I could see not falling under city, but you're exempt from county as well?

    Damn.

Hopefully you have something to stand on, somewhere. That's a bummer.

Waiting to see how they can pass and receive the proper permits for utilities with an oil tank battery nearby.

Contact your health dept. They "might" be able to do something condition wise.
I feel your pain, My road is shaped like an H the far leg is shit hole city, trailers of this type move in and out weekly. The lot is a trashed out muddy mess.

I work as a firefighter, good thing is those things burn to the ground in like 5 minutes. :D

Dogs- my neighbor good guy and good friend. He has one of those dogs "he just can't keep tied up". The dog, doing dog things dug a fucking trench in my yard that would have made a WW1 vet proud. He's friendly enough though and I made a leash and walked him home. Advised my neighbor/friend next he could pick him up at the pound. No dickness from me. Neighbor came down and fixed my yard. Dogs break loose I understand. There is no reason for an owned dog to run the neighborhood daily.

There's a county like that here in Georgia. It used to be beautiful and pristine before the '96 Olympics. All the property owners saw dollar signs and built shops, chicken houses, cabins, etc. People came in in droves and everything multiplied. Now the place is a dump of a town with empty or run down "businesses" everywhere.

I lived in Ray City, outside of Valdosta, for a few months. Georgia is such a beautiful state, but there are definitely some junked up, dumpy spots.
