@Sand Man 2014 I asked my mechanic neighbor about the noise and he said it sounded like a clamp rattling...without looking at it of course.

Have you trimmed the body mount ? And or the rear of the front fender(s) maybe fender liner or liner clips rattling ?
Hearing it first hand would be a lot more helpful (to me) to get an idea of direction.

Heard inner tie rods on my junk knocking last weekend on a wash board road, guess I might should look into that.

Had a similar noise in my work van, ended up being a body hole that had been masked over and the tape finally let go on one end, was swinging up into floor at highway speeds. Some. Sort of sound deadening masking that fell off. It's all the way gone now so it's a non issue.

When I had my alignment done when I bought new tires months ago, one of the clamps that holds the boot on tierod was left loose and was rattling....it took me 2 weeks to figure it out

Any smaller would have to cut you stock studs.

I don't see what a smaller in thickness spacer would require cutting of the studs and 1.25" wouldn't. I'm not a wheel/spacer guru by any means.
