Toytec Lift Rattling My Teeth Out

Hey guys,

I installed the Toytec Ultimate Lift w/ LR UCAs two days ago and got an alignment yesterday. The rear is ok but the front is incredibly stiff. There is zero compliance on the highway and the front end shakes my teeth out. I'm reading that the Toytec springs are at 600lbs.

Is this normal? Is this something that goes away after it settles? I have a Prerunner - is the lack of front driveline weight causing this? I drove about 250mi to my folks place last night and I'll be doing the same going back on Sunday.

If this is normal will an ARB or similar bumper in the front soften things up?

you probably have the spring tighten to tight and its not letting the suspension absorb the bumps in the road

 

I'm in the same boat but I can tell you that an all pro bumper and a winch seemed to make the ride even more jarring. I've been wondering if a different set of shocks up front would help.

Interesting...I didn't adjust them and put them on the way they were out of the box. I'll have to get some measurements between the two collars and let you know what its at. I do know that center of the hub to the fender is 24" - I measured that last night.

They do tend to soften up with some additional weight on them.
But they should NOT be teeth rattling!
