Hey guys - been a long two months of bringing the new truck back to life. Bought it back in September and been dealing with some serious roadblocks ever since. Here's a condensed timeline of the work i've done:

    Sept - bought the 2003 xtracab 4x4 w/ 176K mi
Oct - brought it into the local undercoating shop for winter
    - shop brought me in to check out the frame
    - found rot back by the driver's side leaf spring that had been bondo'd to hide it
    - further inspection found alot more rot on the passenger side
    - took it to toyota to find out if it had the CRC spray applied and therefore had a frame recall
    - found out the original owner never did the spray and therefore i was SOL
    - cut and patched the frame with a nearby welder - did a really good job - you can see some of the patches in the pics
    - finally got the frame coated
November - cleaned out the engine bay with alot of degreaser and elbow grease
    - changed out the plugs with ec2 platinums
    - fluid change on pretty much everything (oil, tranny, diff, coolant, etc)
    - installed K&N fipk
    - bought OME 60062 rear struts (haven't installed yet)
    - put new bfg's shoes on it
    - put westin bug shield on
    - mount and balance, alignment
    - new inner and outer tie rods on driver's side front

its been a struggle and over $4000 put in, but i finally feel like she's getting to a point where she should be. Check out the pics and feel free to point out anything i missed or still need to do.... sorry for the spam of pics...

General consensus is the Uniden 520XL. Simple and works.

Nice truck, I paid 15K for my 03 4x4 Dcab TRD with 120K (I think), so 14-15K would be a starting point.

Looks like a truck that I found on Craig's list a couple days ago! Texted the guy and he said he had someone flying from tennesse to look at it today! Same miles and everything! A day later the truck was off Craig's list! It was probably you who bought it though! Guy from tennesse probably backed out! Congrats do you mind if I ask what you paid for it! Cuz it was a steal and that will tell me if it was the same truck!?
