Well I just finished a night class and normally I remote start my truck before I get to the lot. Anyway, I finally get to it and realized my alarm went off. I jump in and this girl stops me, tells me she hit me, and has her insurance papers ready. I've been having a rough past couple days being under the weather and having big exams, but her not pulling a hit and run and being completely honest was refreshing. So now I have her insurance information and gonna get my baby fixed asap. So sad she missed a LB lifted truck. It's like how could you not see it? Either way pics when the lights up in the morning. No dents just a lot of paint transfer, missing paint, and scrapes. Poor tacoma. Yay insurance. :p

That sucks. I go to cal poly pomona and there are lots of bad drivers. One time a girl hit me twice while I was in my truck. She was trying to park. Dumb woman.

Damn! I don't understand why people can't park vehicles!! I could understand having to readjust when your in a huge truck, but I see people trying to pull into spots, not make it, and have to back up to try again, in a tiny car with an awesome turning radius!

Thats why I try to park far away or at least in spots with a curb on one side, so it minimizes the chances of someone hitting my truck.

Good luck with a speedy and quality fix!

Sucks........but at least she told you! My freshman year of college, 4 yrs ago, I was studying with a group of guys in the lobby of my dorm and heard some guys walk by talking about a truck that had been hit out in the parking lot. I parked way away from everyone but since i had not been to my truck in the past 24hrs i figured i would check on it. Sure enough....i found my truck with flat front tires, the front right tire leaning in, dented body panels, and bumper lying on the ground. Also.....the front right rim was scatched to pieces. He did leave a note on my truck saying his dad owned a shop and he would have it fixed........but he must have been drunk bc he left no phone # or name. I call the police and after they show up.....a guy pulls up in a white T-bird with front end damage. Turned out he was a member of one of the fraternities close by. He confesed that he came through there in his T-bird sliding sideways, lost control, and shot straight into my front right side. He said he was only going 25mph but it blowed my left tire off the rim. He only got a ticket and my truck had to be towed to the local dealership to get fixed. It was a GMC ZR2 that was in excellent condition.....after the wreck it never drove the same.
