It's better then nothing, and I definitely needed something. I didn't have the time to do OBA, so this will do for the interim.

I'll eventually mount a tank and compressor somewhere on the truck and be good good to go!

Co2 is the shit until it runs out and you need it. I still carry an electric backup. I have a 20lb tank and it usually lasts me a full summer. It's pretty sweet to fill a tire from 15 to 35 in 20seconds.

For some reason, I'm just now seeing this post. Thanks for the offer, but I try not to borrow stuff from people cause I always tend to break their shit. Plus, this little pump will push me to just install OBA. :)

    in other news....

Figured I'd post up a few photos/videos and a very short write up from my trip to the Baja 1000 with @Motomon ....

It was my first time going down to Mexico in about 15 years, so this was all going to be pretty new to me. Getting across the border was as easy as I remembered it. Unfortunately it wasn't so easy for Garrett. He got pulled into secondary inspection which ended up taking about 30 minutes. I guess that had to X-ray his truck. I heard something over the radio about rubber gloves and his buddy Andy being strip searched, but who knows what actually happened behind that fence...

From the border we made the drive down to San Felipe where we met up with some of Garrett's friends and camped out at their house by the beach20151119_080640.jpg

The next day we made our way over to where the BFG pit was scheduled to be. Mile marker 622. Aside from the crappy direction of the wind (blowing everything into our pit) and the malfunction of the HAM radio antenna everything was setup and running relatively easy.

    20151120_072229.jpg

Waking up at 5:30am the next morning (race day) was probably not the smartest thing to do, but it's pretty hard to sleep once the sun is up. Plus the pup had to take care of some other business...

    20151121_062930.jpg

Up until about 10 pm Friday night we kind of all just played the waiting game. GOPR0197.jpg 20151120_180952.jpg

Once they started coming in though, things got pretty wild!!

This went on all through the night and into the next morning. I believe we were scheduled to service about 75 vehicles, but I have no clue how many actually made it though

After tearing down the pit we made our way back to town for some relaxation and food, and after being up for 36 hours we could definitely use it. So we grabbed a couple buckets of beer and all the tacos we could fit.

Installed some replacement LED reverse lights tonight. Not too sure I'm that thrilled with the difference. I wasn't expecting much, but I think the swingout blocks a bit of it. I'll find out tomorrow morning on the way to work though. It's a good thing I have some Rigids coming in a couple days to finally fill those holes in my rear bumper. :)

My bumper is the older style, so I have the smaller cutouts for the SRM's. Should be getting them Monday.

Nice. I thought about getting SR M's. I'm worried that the Q's will be too bright.

the M's and the Q's are different sizes. If you got the cutouts in your bumper for reverse lights, then I'm pretty sure you have to use the Q's. I wouldn't be worried about them being too bright. I mean Rigid does sell them specifically to be used as reverse lights. I'd say the brighter the better!!

Yeah I'm just worried about pissing other drivers off. At least they will only be on for a short amount of time and they are mounted low.
