I can understand what you mean. You can always do a set of aftermarket replicas and just have them just install the projectors. I'm actually thinking of doing that because my headlamps are starting to get hazy
I think this looks great! I love the fact that you not only left the headlamp bowl alone but you also didn't paint the little corner running lamp. Great job!

To me the color matched head and taillamps look much more "ricey" than the blacked out. To me the dark chrome (like Rebecca likes and my sport has) or the BHLM looks better because it looks meaner

Coming from a Dodge family it does sadden me to see them going the way of Land Rover. Awesome comfort and capability, sharp looks, and amazing features...that stop working after year 3.

Lol, see, to me the BHLM looks like a chick wearing too much eye liner, haha! The body-color mod only works well with some of the colors. Looks good on white trucks and pyrite mica, looks lousy on green and blue. To me, at least. But I'm weird; I still polish the chrome on my truck and have the tires mounted white-letter out.

Exactly. I still love the looks of a Chrysler 300 and I hear it rides better than a Caddy but I would NEVER buy one!

Eh, I'd prefer the BHLM if it was all blacked out except the lighting part, which would require doing a retrofit.

Ugh gonna be a long day and longer night. Dart league playoffs at home

    yeah yer weird hehe

my old boss grew up poor (now he's worth millions), but they used to spray paint their wheels black to make it look like they were aftermarket, since they couldn't afford new ones. now, he HATES the look of black wheels because to him it meant growing up poor, and love chrome. just funny how something like that will completely change your outlook on something that seems little

Challengers and Chargers are the same way. Great looks, great performance but I'd never buy one

have you seen how the shifters are in all the new chrysler products? they either have the stupid prius like thing where you toggle it back and forth into gears, or it's a dial. a DIAL!! i had a chrysler 200 rental car and kept turning up the volume when i was trying to go reverse to drive

Yeah, I was lusting after a Challenger for a while. A lady I work with bought one and she went out and wrote her name in the parking lot with it. I was super jealous for a while, but after the 1 year honeymoon was over it made 6 or 7 trips to the dealership and she is NOT happy with it now.

Yup I had to drive a dodge Caravan not long ago. I don't know which was worse, that or having to let Cupcake drive my truck and follow her!

yeah you always hear that certain companies quality is improving, and you think that certainly a modern anything is better than most car fifteen years ago. i got my first american car ever and HATED it. it didn't have all that many miles on it, but there were so many things that were malfunctioning. the transmission felt like it was trying to self distruct

I've shifted my focus and now I'm eyeballing the new Mustangs. Totally impractical for Maine; I'd have to garage it for 6 months out of the year, lol. But damned if that new look hasn't grown on me like a fungus. Absolutely hated it when they came out, but saw them in person and now I really like the redesign.
Plus you can get one with a stick.

My 1986 Chevy celebrity looked horrible but the damn thing kept on running and didn't eat any oil even with 160K. Nor did my 1988 with 150k. Yet my new 2006 Chevy Colorado puked the head and timing chain at 75k.

I guess? The fusion's FWD and the 'Stang's a RWD, and they don't share a platform, engine, transmission, or body...
But other than that they're practically twins, lol.

    God yes...
    SHWING!
