I do that also Kyitty. I use "K for my mileage and "K" for my pricing. Looks like I do everything wrong....ha

First synthetic oil change: Mobil 1 5w30, Napa Gold 1348 filter (planning on 7500 miles for this next interval but we will see how it goes)
Differential oil change: Amsoil long life synthetic gear lube 75w90 (had 60k on the conventional lube with just a tiny bit of goop on the magnet, looks great)
Transmission service: dropped the pan for the first time, new filter strainer, new pan gasket, not much debris on the pan magnets. Toyota T-IV fill.
Firestone service: full alignment, wheel balance and tire rotation (already paid for these lifetime services)

actually they are both right, like Kyitty said. the K is Greek for kilo which is 1000. km is short for kilometers, but when countries that use km's instead of mile talk about them, we say k's instead of km's. guess it just rolls off the tongue easier. I'm so used to it that when someone on here uses k, I automatically check their location bc if they from Canada I know they mean km's

the arrogance of Americans is not using the k to mean m, its in assuming everyone should automatically know what you're talking about :poking:

Haha. Yeah! I am checking out the allpro rock sliders. Anybody have suggestions for other brands. The allpro's are about $90 more than the stock side steps from what i can see.

    Seriously... thanks!

I am not sure of all the brands that make sliders. I could probably have my step father make some for me but since my repair shop is being cool i figured i would capitalize on the situation.

I found out that my truck probably wont make it to the repair shop till Jan so i am looking for slides that can be delivered by that time. I am seeing some that have "lead time" so i am not sure that is going to work. I need some that are already made and ready to go.
