    :lalala:

Wonder if I can start a Kickstarter...

There are a few people who have successfully done turbo swaps... lol

For 3 grand I could import a 1JZ or use a put a 7M or 1UZ. Now that the supercharger doesn't say Toyota IDK if they can ask the same price

    :censored: You first :D

But I need to make the 4runner heavier and have more wind resistance first right? That is what all the cool kids do...

I am also liking my gas mileage. Our tanks are so small I don't need to stop more than I already do... lol

No joke. 1st one I was crossing a creek up near the sand dunes, water up to the windshield. In my defense there was a 1st gen tundra and an XJ Cherokee on the other side. When I made it to the other side they said they were surprised I made it, because the Cherokee sucked in water and blew the engine up :frusty:. They had initially waved me across.

2nd time back back through same creek(same day), 1/4 way up windshield. Water literally stared flowing from under the dash. Second scariest moment in the 4runner.

The 3rd time I was driving through same creek(different day) water up to top of wheels. Went too fast, stalled, took out air filter and started after a few cranks. Scariest day in the 4runner.

Needless to say I get really stupid when there is water present, and I really need to stay away from that road. I really should relocate my rear diff breather! If I get a snorkel it would be more for dust. Lot of dust storms here.

I ran a SC at Denver elevation for 3 years or so. Never had to do the 7th or any supporting mods.

Good to know! Now you have a sweet turbo. :bikewheelie:

1st color of the 1st post, for color. Have you thought about the matte look with the current red of your 4runner? Wonder how that would look. The green outside and red door jams would drive me crazy.

They don't make a red that i particularly like. And i want a green 4Runner again haha. I'll be wrapping the jams too so it should come out fine

Have you checked out the $130 Amazon snorkels? That is what I want to do with mine, and I still need to do the rear diff breather mod as well. It doesn't help that CO has a ton of rivers and creeks. Or you should just hand the keys over when you see water lol.

Mine does that to my computer...I think she gets jealous.

Sweet! That color you chose will look sweet. At least it does on the merc.

I can't put a snorkel on a mostly stock car. lol I have not seen the Amazon ones of which you speak. I feel that you have to but the ARB one, cause that is what everyone does. lol

I have both toyota parts in my garage. I will head over to car quest(150 feet from my house and the guys are always helpful) after work and maybe pick up some line and hose clamps!

I have gotten better about water. I usually stay away from them in the spring. With the snow year we are having it may be a while before tree line is accessible...

The Amazon ones seem to work really well, been following the thread over on T4R and people seem to like them. ARB is just so damn expensive and you still have to modify it to work with the 4Runner. Nice, it is something on my list, but my list seems to get keep getting bigger and bigger as the days go on. Diff breather will be done eventually.

Here is thread if you want to check it out:
