A lot of the keg forms suggest against the fridge method... If you don't mind me asking, where did you go to fill the tank?

Also do you weigh it before hand or did they tell you that's how much you got?

You should always weight the bottle empty and get it marked on the bottle.

Filling CO2 is by weight. So they add 10lbs to the weight of your bottle if its a 10lb bottle for instant.

FWIW. Im a huge advocate of CO2. However. 10lbs isn't worth it unless you run small tires. 15lbs is a good balance. But you really should have 20lb bottle if you have 35s for sure. Which im surprised to see he isn't offering.

a 20lb bottle only lasts me a season.

It was a local place that is a brewery and sells home brewing stuff. He weighed it in front of me and then after he filled it.
I have another place local, that is a welding supply business that will fill it too.

Bump to see who is 100% still in. I dropped out with all the money I have been spending lately, but I will still be happy to organize and run this GB for you guys!

Remember, we need at least 5 ready to pay in full for the discount to be applied.

Let me know if you have any questions.

You should buy me one since you know I wanted one :luvya:

I reached out to the other member who was a 'maybe' to confirm he will still participate. I gave him 24 hours to reply. I want to get this going and I would hate to have to wait on people.

    Thanks all!

I have the 10lb setup, super quality parts. Worth every penny. Filled up tires for 5 trucks in the time it took one guy to use his compressor.... Doesn't do much if you forget to re-fill it though, haha.

Oh ya, and I filled up my full size air mattress twice on that same trip too. For one person filling up tires at the end of a trail run, absolutely. If you want to run air tools and get all crazy, I would have a compressor for backup. Like I said, I used a lot of air on that one multi day trip, then still filled my tires on my last trail run. Now it needs a refill... haha
