Generally the grip height is what will make you print over any other factors. So a g26 won't print as much as a compact 1911 even though it's fatter. Single stacks are more comfortable to carry because they're thinner

Got my new magpul 700 hunter stock installed last night and got to shoot it today. I am very happy with it, I did decide to get the magpul bottom metal and drop magazine at the same time. It takes AICS magazines.

Very comfortable to shoot, and it stays free floated with my can on the end when on a bipod.

My only complaint is that I can't use my stock pouch that I had on the Houge stock, as it raises my eye too much

It's getting a camo job in a couple weeks I think

I love my p238 shoots well. I sold my shield after I got one. Has a similar round capacity as a single stack 9 and is twice as concealable. If you get a 380 it's a slippery slope you will likely never want to touch the shield again.

Sold the shield and g43 as I shoot the 380 as well as either of them. I carry a sr9c if I'm at a big event as it has 10 rounds and I shoot it almost as well as a full sized pistol.

Definatly love the 380 I recommend it highly.

Looking at picking one of these up myself. Probably a dumb question but did you have to purchase bigger pants in order to carry this? Or are you an open carry kinda guy?

Finally in the market for a back up gun / off-duty carry. I was on the fence between a Sig P238 and a Glock 42 until I had a chance to fondle both this weekend. While the 42 is by far the best feeling Glock I've ever held, it's still a Glock and the feel of the Sig was far superior in my opinion. Now to wait for my uniform allowance early next year.

If I didn't just build an AR pistol I'd be all over it.

What are peoples opinions on trigger pull weight for a carry weapon?

There's a mod for Glocks that just consists of polishing up the trigger components for smoother trigger pull, but it drops the weight by about a pound from ~5lbs 14oz to ~4lbs 10oz.

If cheap 7n6 were still a thing I would also be all over it.

No opinion from me except I won't draw my weapon in defense unless I plan on using it, so trigger weight doesn't matter to me unless it's outrageously heavy.

Good point. I don't see being a pound lighter than factory being able to cause a misfire. But with me being relatively new to anything but shooting them, I just didn't want to end up doing something that is just plain dumb.

I wouldn't go much lower than 4.5 lbs on a DAO. I carry a P30 around 7 lb DA/3.5 SA. It's plenty light for me.

Early in the 5.45 popularity it was closer to 12-15c. I can get 7.62x39 for just a touch more than 5.45 now.
