Not necessarily today, but in the past couple weeks I have gotten my ARE CX series topper with toolbox mounted on the bed, OEM smoke headlights installed, a whole shitload of patches up from my last big trip, gotten my new Satoshi grill from @myclejay off to paint, and a cab mount chop done last night by @NwiTACO !!!!!!!!!!!!

Mines installed the other way and rattles a bunch also. I've wondered if that cover would limit the rattle...

So took a drive to get the kids from school today with the Hi-Lift Neoprene cover in place. On lesser bumps I didn't hear any clanking around. However, the roads are still covered in packed snow piles so the big bumps I did indeed hear the clanking. But it's improved so it seems (from a single drive experience anyhow).

Better to ask what I have not done.
I played around with a ton of wiring tonight while my buddy wraps my over head console.

I'll post more pictures when he is done wrapping the console.

Allpro, the mounts are solid and well designed. It's the Hi-lift itself that rattles.

PM me after you've used it a while, I'd like to know how much it helps with the rattle after longer use.

    Cheers

    Nothing done to it today...

BUT I did pull the trigger on ordering a set of 295/70/18 (34.5") Cooper Discover STT PROs. Along with a set of stereotypical Moto Metal 951's (I think they're cliche as fuck, but I've been wanting them since high school). Never bought new rims before. Should be cool.

Already got a 6 inch lift kit sitting under my bed. Plan on doing a body mount chop when I go install everything. Just hope install price isn't too much. Parents have been begging me to ask them something for christmas. Might just say some LR UCAs or new strut assemblies...and see how that goes over.

Honestly I'm really fucking excited, been dreaming of having a jacked up lifted truck for years now.

My 2012 tacoma I traded in, after 2 years and 8 months of ownership, had 18,500 miles on it, I bought it with 9,000 miles. At the rate im going right now ill have about 1,200 miles a year on my 2015, so in theory I could have bought the last truck I am ever going to own, If the body will hold up.
I have been on pain meds for years, sometimes it's the only way to get moving and on other days it doesn't matter how many pain meds I take it just hurts to move around.
