There's a 9 month long TA in Oklahoma. A foreman I worked for here wants me to be on his crew there. Would make like $100k if stayed the full 9 months but If I go I'll probably just stay a couple months to get a new truck then drag up

There's no way i could handle being gone that long lol. I enjoy my family and friends too much.

 

Because what's the point of even being in a relationship if you don't even see each other for practically a year? I've had the rent house 3 months now and have literally spent 2 weeks there. Its not easy on the home life to be gone that long. Especially if we work 7-12s (my $100k was figured up working 6-10s). It sounds easy but not seeing your SO for months at a time is difficult.
