    It's really pretty easy but you have to have a group that will communicate. It's easy with our normal raid group. A pick up group might be a little tougher

    Yeah man... LFG is hit or miss. We have a solid raid group so everyone has a specific role in each fight. I call out the Glyphs on the WarPriest, and Tank Golgoroth. Challenge mode Oryx I stay up on one of the Daughters platforms since I've got 3-320 ToM so we burn down the orges fast. We completed it tonight in about 15 mins. I'm one point away from 319 right now.

    yeah ive always done lfg, since vault. very hit or miss.
    for the oryx challenge i was 3rd plate. ogres were never the problem, but the knights were, cause everyone was used to the other strat. once everyone got used to the sightlines to take out their knights with 2 quick sniper headshots, we rolled.

    Yep. Don't know if you've checked into it but I use the 100.io site. I almost gave up on Destiny before this site came out. It's basically "match.com" for Destiny players. You put in your age, style of play, times you play, parent, etc... and it matches you with other players. It's been the best site yet. Before I used that it was lfg and I hated it. You either get in with a group that doesn't have a clue what to do or... expects perfection. This takes away any pressure. My friends list has grown exponentially since I joined the site.

    As far as the Oryx fight goes I always hated the "no knight" strat. I understand that it was easier if you were around 310 but all of us are 317+ and it's not hard. In fact I figure we will do Challenge Mode from now on since it is a faster way to do the fight. No AoE bombs to run from and just 4 cycles of thunderdome. Fight takes < 10 mins. We had Oryx CP last night, went in at 11:30 and by 11:45 had our loot. If you have a group that communicates then it works out perfectly. Someone will say "knight 4 is still up" and we take him down etc...

    totally agree, i love this new approach where you detonate all 16 at the end. shade is easy, and running in circles dodging bombs was always annoying. ive heard of the 100 but never joined. i definitely dont play as much as i used to pre-ttk, but im sure ill be obsessed again once destiny 2 comes out next fall.

    Oh man... I swore I would never buy TTK. Not after the cluster fuck that HoW's was. I had given up on Destiny and would only play when someone put up a post needing a Sherpa to run through VoG. Checked my stats and I've run VoG 110 times. I never minded running new people through VoG because I always liked that raid. But PoE? Fuck that shit! I hated it. The first year we played it seemed as if we were playing the "beta version" of the game. But... Then TTK came out and it was a complete game. Although not perfect (no game is) I find myself always wanting to play now. There is always something to do. Sparrow racing? Hell yeah why not? Granted only two maps but the rewards are pretty good and it's a fun distraction. Never saw that coming. IB comes out on the 29th so I'm looking forward to that. All my gear is IB gear on 2 of my Characters.

    Grind my way through Iron Banner and rank up to 5 and all I got was a 300 ghost and a 302 chest piece... The one thing I hate the lost in this game and I grind it out inthe hopes of 310+ something and I get fuckall. Yet to break 307 on drops... RNJesus Christ Bungie!!!

    Don't feel bad brother. Rank 5 with all my characters and got 3-310 ghosts at the end. Buddy of mine got a 317 ghost and another got a 320 ghost. I was getting better drops in sparrow racing but I enjoy IB more. I'll still play it today and tomorrow just for the random drops and shooting people in the face. Do have a full set of IB gear leveled up to 320 on both WL's though with a 1.79kd. Not bad since that's the only time I play crucible.

    My patience for this game is seriously reaching its limit. Ran the nightfall and got nothing out of it, I mean zero, zilch, zed, fuckall. A buddy got a legendary horn out of it. A horn, a fucking horn...
