OBA -> On Board Air Mega Thread & BS

IIRC it should be the isolation switch. The other 2 should be the front and rear lockers.

Yeah it keeps the compressor from killing your battery.

That's what I figured, just weird it doesn't have a fuse... I think my KCs do. I have that switch power ran to the battery. Now I gotta figure out where to splice this into

 

I tapped mine into the same wire from the headlights that the switch-pros instructions detailed. It was yellow I believe. I'm sure you can tap into something off the tail light.

 

Wait that doesn't make sense, that means you can only use your compressor with headlights on. I tapped the illumination wire to there, but I'm talking about the ignition wire...

 

Fuck I don't remember and I won't be around my truck for another two days. It may have been an add a fuse or something. If no one else can help once I get home I'll recheck my wiring.

Grab a multi meter or test light and read that manual, ask for wiring diagrams, or hire someone to come help (pizza, beer, and a plane ticket works for me).

 

there is, where r u wiring this thing? there is a few slots behind the change drawer infront of the fuse box that are ket switch on and just use a tap a fuse for it.

Yup I used what Gordi linked to do my switches as on with ignition. If I remember right I used the left most 2nd from the top fuse. You can get a good idea just by reading what the fuse is to know which to tap into. Plus if you mess it up withtbat tap a fuse it's quick to change

Question for those that already have an OBA setup, Do any of you have a quick connect fitting inside your cab? If so, do you find it useful and those that don't, do you wish you had plumed one into the cab? Right now I have a quick connect fitting at the front and rear of the truck. I'm about to run some tiny air line through the cab for an air pressure gauge and was contemplating adding an air line in the cab. I think it'd be nice to have, but don't know if it's worth the hassle. Thanks. I'll try and post progress here soon.

Where did you end up mounting your compressor? I got you covered and will update soon! If not, I think @IGGY has been working on an under hood mounting solution
