No locker just means more skinny pedal and better lines that's all

I've wheeled there a few times with open diff's. It doesn't stop you.... Just challenges you a bit more.
I'm 'that' guy most of the time. My CB works 33% of the time.

But when you don't have one, it works 0% of the time.

I'd say mine works roughly 29% of the time so i'll replace "that guy" status

If you can buy all that stuff for your truck, you can buy a $60 CB setup.

Get one of those $40 cobra radios, a magnetic antenna and you're good. Put the radio in the little cubby hole below the USB input. You can power it with a cigarette lighter power spot. It's how I ran initially when I went offroading. I ran the antenna cable through the back door along the rubber where if I closed the door it would be snug, but not pinching the connection.

If you want to be fancy, you can get a small little speaker and keep it in your cubby hole to the right of the steering wheel (lazy boy auto mode option only)

I have a $40 and a $35 magnetic intenna and it works so badly I've bought a fire stick and I'm willing to drill my truck. I originally powered it off the cigarette jack with some "custom" redneck Jerry rigging but have since wired it to the battery, which hasn't helped.

Use your bed as a ground.. poor grounding will cause poor performance.

It's on the roof right now and don't know about the magnetic in my bed. I'm going to drill in the front driver corner of the bed for the fire stick I think.

    That's what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna use a 6ft fire stick.

I had open country my tires on my 3/4 ton but didn't put enough miles on them to see how well I liked them. I do remember them being I think 95 pounds a tire
