Also I love my fresh Barcelona, does this have a smoothish finish? saw a jeep with something smoother in my hometown Tacoma group meet and loved it but he had hunters orange, looked good on a jeep, but its not a taco

Nice! I found a ton of product placement for Monstaliner and it looks like great stuff but I couldn't find a lot of trustworthy / long-term reviews from actual happy customers so I wrote it off. I'll definitely give it a second look though. I'm making a custom tonneau cover out of marine grade ply next summer and I want to put a good UV stable smooth bedliner on it after the marine epoxy is done curing. I was going to look at Durabak but I'll have to give Monstaliner a serious reconsideration.

'fresh Barcelona' can only be replicated with 'fresh Barcelona'.

Smooth to the touch compared to products with tire chips in them, you betcha. Smooth like paint, never gonna happen. Although you can use varied application techniques to create different final textures. Read up on it on the site.

I dunno what you mean by the Jeep vs Taco comparison. If how something looks in a certain color is your comment, well sure. All in the eye of the beholder though. If you want a finish that will stand up well to off road abuse, hide paint that has become a mess, and NOT look like everyone elses bedliner, you need a different texture and color. Again. Look in their gallery and find some samples.

I looked through and found blood red. They sell their samples for comparison, ill take it from here I guess. Lovin the concept of it all. This Monstaliner seems like some quality stuff. Thanks for the product advise, ill abuse my paint some more and keep this in mind!
