I'll take two sets of second gen unwelded kits. As long as the hardware is included 5/8" bolts is fine

These things are a nice bit of fab. Thanks again Seve!! @dirt designs rocked the gb :headbang:

I doubt i'll be the first one to get the bar bent... So i'll be excited to see who can get after it first! May have to wait until spring to get it done, which is fine since I dont plan on pushing the truck too hard anytime soon with this snow that's blanketed WY now.

Yup, no rush on mine either, rainy day project for after I get more important shit done.

Did you get the fully welded one or WIY? Mine had a small piece of tube tacked in that I am going to remove. Won't be doing secondary hoop now, but need to leave that section out for down the road. Mine will look like this one for a while.

Should sleeve into the open ended tube. Assuming the first and second gen mounts have that provision...

Don't remove it. Your shock hoop that you build will slide into that tubing

The first gen secondary hoops I run use 1.25" od tubing (2nd gen can fit 1.5 easier). That small welded in tube on your 1st gen mount you can use a 1" od tube and sleeve inside the tube, the 1" od tube should hang out of that tube about 1-1.5", and you sleeve over it with the 1.25" tube that you are using for your secondary shock hoop.

2nd gen guys will sleeve inside with 1.25" od tubing and sleeve over that with 1.5" tubing.

Edit: If 1st gen guys want you can just sleeve inside 1", over that with 1-2" long 1.25"od and then sleeve 1.5" over that for the secondary hoop, but I have never had issues with the 1.25 on secondary hoops.

So what about removing it all together and running a single solid tube? Any issues running without any tube for a while. I realize it is there for structural support.
