Wondering if I should just go to 12 psi from the get go.. Is a piggy back a must for 12?

I would say so. Thats quiet of bit of boost for these motors. You going to have to get even bigger injectors then the pink tops too.

And more crap is just to go wrong dealing with tuning and stuff.

Yeah I know but I really don't want to mess with tuning right now. And I have almost no room for an intercooler which would be a must at 12..

Your going to have pinging problems without a intercooler at almost any boost I would think. Unless your dumping alot of fuel to keep it cool. Maybe not if you have higher octane fuel.

But maybe you won't have problems...idk for sure

I'd still run a small intercooler if you can. You could even put a cut out in the hood, like some Subarus have. No need for a fuel pump under 5psi. Do not ever buy a walbro. Only denso. I have a denso tt supra pump. Tial wastegate direct from them (no knock offs) f38 .5bar 7.25 psi spring. Thing is the spring will not necessarily register what it says. Mine actually only goes to less than 5psi. It can depend on the system it is in. But I can go to 14psi and more with it. I recommend a stand alone if you can afford one, I'm not sure though how your 4cyl would respond to one. Mine slightly conflicts with the oe ecu. I may go to a stand alone eventually. More control and I'll easily make more hp.

Superchargers run a good amount of boost with minimal ping. They inhale hot ass air. I love methanol too. You can run more boost. It's like running really cold fuel. If I boost a lot it goes quick, but I don't mind filling up the tank. Plus, windshield washer fluid is 1.99 a gallon.

You'll be able to generate more power with an intercooler too. And or methanol.

Do you have a standalone? I was think of just getting an aem fic when I up the boost and its needed. I think I'll just start at 5psi get the pink injectors skip the fuel pump and just see how that goes.

You'll be fine like that. Oe injectors will handle that much. I have the fic6, it just does like this super quick sputter from time to time. Nothing major. ECU oe conflict learning.

That seller has a crap ton of bad reviews. See if the part # matches up with what lce or urd sells. I'd try a different seller for sure if he sends you a bad one even though that is a good price on fuel pump. I haven't had any issues with my walbro but it was from urd.
That pump is plenty of flow. You can upgrade to almost 1000cc inj with that pump.

Did you put a crankcase breather on both vents on the valve cover? I read somewhere that the rear has a check valve so it's not affected by boost

Walbros are great pumps. However. There offer a variety of options. So the right one needs to be used for the intended output.

More importantly, MAKE SURE NOT to get a knock-off. They are one of the most recognized and reputable brand pump manufacturers on the market. Which means that there are plenty of bottom feeders trying to make a buck off of their name.

It's so many parts when you piece it together. You'll be boosting about the time I get my turbo back on. I collected for about 3 months before I knocked out the project.
